Tararua

Post by KiwiKraut »

Hi,
Iam from the greater Tararua district and have been looking at IPN for some time, but have just come on board.
I have been prepping foe awhile already due to a real sense of foreboding as to where this country is headed economically, and I feel that the follow on issues when a country goes down, has the potential to be mighty dangerous, if the situation gets serious. It may happen or it may not, but as a parent, I feel I would be totally irresponsible not to prep.
i also prep because my income is precarious, so I have a saftey blanky!
One of the issues we face in NZ is the gun laws we have here. I wouldn't like the thought of harming anyone, BUT if my children were threatened I wouldn't hesitate to protect them. Of course I would be the one to go to jail, not the "victim"!
is there anyone from my region doing the same?

Hi Well we are safe in Tararua, just need to keep your powder dry.
Seems this area is getting depopulated by government local and national.
