I'm happy to find this site. I've read heaps of great comments already and learned a lot already. I hope to contribute some little bits as I go along. What stands out when I read other member's prep stories, is that many of you think you will be on the move when things go belly-up. I am preparing my place so I can stay where I am and hopefully that's possible. An advantage that I know my way around and where to find resources and people if i need them. I don't know if this is a good idea or just al wishfull thinking ? I've got a plot of land and plan to grow lots of veges etc in a tunnelhouse. I feel sometimes time is running out ! but preparing gives me a good feeling, it's a form of action v. in-action. ah well i've said my bit for now. Greetings from me and stay safe.
Greetings from A Canuk. I think most hope to be able to hunker down in place. There are many scenarios where it is best to "bug out" but in the end that is an uncertain route for many if not most... kind of a last resort. As has been said before MANY times... hope for the best but expect the worst. Be well.
