If you gear it right, you want the motor to turn the solar oven 120* in a 6 hour time frame using a spring tensioner to get it tight. There is a you tube demo out there some where that shows this.

For those who watch precious metal indicators, in the past year Gold went from a high of $1900 down to a low of $1180. Silver has lost half of its valve. Certain caliber of bullets are in high demand and hard to find. Can you say Hmmmmm

I wasn't caught, but our BBQ is hooked up to the Natural gas line. I just recently bought a side burner for it to boil water for my coffee and such.

I will be bringing some activated charcoal (home made) and some Calcium Chloride (for making A-char.), I also may be selling/swap, the 5 Gal. Sand/A-char. Water filter that I just made (complete).

One option that you could look into, is sound proofing a generator shed. Egg carton sound insulators and Batts sound insulation. Add a muffler to the exhaust.

For me there is not much difference, for within 15 min depending on the vehicle I have at the moment will depend on how much I will take. If they say that you might get back into you house in a few days... pack for a few weeks.
