As strange as it sounds - death :mrgreen:

Getting my things in order so others don't get "stuck" with anything. Which includes but not limited to re-organizing everything I own, down sizing, labelling (for example: this goes to and then the name of the person)

Around me, things are getting to the point where some prepping is "normal". I kind of wrote my bio family off due in part to their negative comments on all my beliefs. My ex (surprisingly) is now getting into prepping....only because a lot of his co-workers have off the grid cabins, not from my comm...

way too many One that comes to mind off the top is the power outage of 2003. Not as bad as you trying to get home as I had the choice of various back routes. One of the things that I heard in the hour long radio ad was that they have covered a chicken coop in northern Ontario with the screening and were going to bait it to see if they could get a bear to "attack" it. The chickens are not in the coop. They have set up cameras to see what critters, if any ...

yes and no to comparing:
both last a long time
neither have much in the way of nutrients
about the same cost

a lot more salt in hardtack
hardtack requires less in the way of care of storage
pilot bread has a lot of chemicals (the store bought kind)
